The Annotated New York Times

The Annotated New York Times

This is a very cool and interesting idea. An example of a digital product that has no print equivalent--showing that we are free to let go our print metaphors when looking a digital text, (no e-books, no e-journals) and by doing so we can fully exploit new technology.

Also shows how the descriptive structure (metadata) we use for print information is inadequate for digital communication.
